Rapid urbanisation is disturbing the natural ecosystems and causing a decline in the bird population in Bangalore. While urbanisation is the larger umbrella, there are many reasons which built up to it. Construction of roadways, expansion of metro lines, construction of numerous apartments, cutting of trees, pollution and dumping of garbage in lakes, drying up of tanks, increase in noise and pollution, etc. are some of the unnatural practices that are leading to downfall of wildlife present in the city.Through generated art, this project aims to depict an exaggerated version of a city where urbanisation has led to downlfall of birds and other natural ecosystems. The goal is to portray a world without certain birds to convey their importance in our daily lives.
