I was the team lead at the Global Challenge Lab 2024, where we developed 'GreenFlags,' a blockchain-enabled SaaS platform aimed at revolutionising the textile industry's approach to sustainability. Our project targeted UN SDG 13: Climate Action.

A few learnings post working on this challenge with people from all across the world:

🌎 Leading a team across five time zones was a challenging yet rewarding experience. It taught me the importance of optimising time management, focusing on asynchronous work, and ensuring our limited synchronous meetings were efficient.

📑 Effective communication and meticulous documentation were crucial to keep our team aligned and progressing smoothly.

📊 I learnt how to formulate a robust business model and effectively pitch a complex idea within three minutes.

👥 Collaborating with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds broadened my perspective and enhanced my ability to adapt and lead in a multicultural environment.

🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 I realised the importance of networking and global collaboration in tackling sustainability challenges.

The program was incredibly insightful, showcasing UN SDGsin action through innovative business models aimed at solving global issues to combat climate change.
