Overview
FigBuild Hackathon 2025, hosted by Figma, challenged students to create innovative, design-led solutions in just 48 hours. Our project, Winks, was developed during this hackathon and reimagined how memory and learning could be enhanced through an immersive superpower interface.
Out of 170+ registered students and 60+ teams from Parsons, Winks proudly won First Prize.

Imagine you wake up tomorrow with a superpower-a magical ability that helps you overcome a major challenge in your life. Identify a real-world pain point, invent a superpower to solve it, design a tool or platform to manage it effectively, and think through any unintended consequences and safeguards.
Conceptualization & Breaking Down the Brief: We analyzed the challenge, identified a real-world pain point, and envisioned a superpower around memory reflection that aligned with users' emotional and cognitive needs.
Designing User Flows & Prototyping: We mapped intuitive user journeys, built key screens like the Memory Dive, Point Tracker, and Efficiency Dashboard, and rapidly prototyped a functional, immersive interface.
Storytelling & Narrative Crafting: We structured a strong storytelling arc to humanize the concept, emphasize emotional impact, and present the solution in a compelling, cinematic way to the judges.
